Every second, every minute, and everyday we’re in isolation,

Don’t judge a person just by his or her first look, that’s the moral of the story. This story is about Bill, the protagonist, meets a terribly nice lady, but later at the end of the story finds that she actually is a horrible person. In the short story Landlady by Roald Dahl, Bill learns a moral that don’t just trust a person on the first encounter, and don’t get deceived by their kindness outside.
The main theme of the story is deception and trick. The main example in the story is when Bill Weaver travels to Bath, London for a business trip, but when he found a hotel to live in, he met the owner of the hotel. She was an extremely nice and kind woman and offered him a fantastic room to live in and with a cheap press. Then something interesting happened, when the women asked Bill to sign a paper for renting the room, Bill saw two familiar names on the paper. Then he remembered that these are the two people that disappeared a couple years ago. Then Bill asked why the parrot and the other animals in the room seemed so quiet and to his surprise the women said she stuffed all of them when they passed away.
This creeped Bill out. This shows that the author is trying to pass and tell the moral that never trust anyone just because they’re generous and nice.
All in all, this story tells us people are trustworthy on the outside but treacherous on the inside. Just like in the story, Bill justed the women because she offered him a good room at a cheap price, offered him food and water, and all these kind things to do. But at the end, she was an evil and treacherous woman.

Every person has his or her type of personality or styles of doing things, and you may like them or dislike them. In the short story “Miss Awful”, there are two teachers called Ms. Wilson, and Ms. Orville. These two teachers are the opposite to one another, and in my opinion both of these teachers aren’t perfect.
First of all, Ms. Wilson is a nice and friendly teacher that loves students and lets them play and talk. Not only she let’s the students play around she is carefree too. For example, Roger, a student, that is in Ms. Wilson’s class one day he was being normal and just like any other day. Tommy Miller, another kid that is his classmate, got tired of sitting in his regular seat. So he asked Ms. Wilson if he can lay down on the floor instead of sitting properly. Surprisingly, Ms. Wilson said yes, and what’s more interesting is that she and the whole class layed down. Can you imagine a teacher laying on the ground?! On the other hand, Ms. Orville is exactly opposite. She is kind of military and very strict, she ordered the students to not play and not talk the whole day. I’m not saying Ms. Orville is a bad teacher because she actually teaches something unlike Ms. Wilson.
In conclusion, Ms. Wilson is a very nice teacher and carefree about anything. On the opposite, Ms. Orville is a strict teacher that doesn’t allow students to do anything. But however, every person has his or her own way of doing things.
Disease devoured many people in the past and was hated by every single human being. There are many diseases or pandemics that happened in this world. And every one of them was a disaster.
There are many diseases that happened in the past that were catastrophic. One of them is the Antonine Plague. This is quite similar to the current Covid-19 pandemic. There are quite some similarities and differences between these two diseases. First let’s talk about the similarities, the main similarities is that they both cause the economics and the politics to go down. When you have a pandemic, people die so that reduces the income of your job. On the other hand, the difference between these two diseases is that the method of dying is different.
Overall, there are many difference and similarities between these two diseases.
Us humans had been wanting to go to Mars and live there for so long. We’ve been thinking a lot about how we’re gonna survive on Mars. Now, scientists thought that maybe we could add an organism’s DNA into ours. And that creature is called tardigrades, the reason they chose this organism is because they can survive the vacuum of space.
Planting tardigrades’ DNA into ours really benefits us and that can make us explore more things or knowledge that we still don’t know. For example, this technique can allow astronauts to travel to Europa, which is widely regarded as one of the solar system’s best bets to harbor alien life. But another problem is that there are more dangerous things or more extoxic things there in the universe, and those are still unknown. Here is a quote from a scientist: “If we ever get there, those are the cases where the human body would be almost completely fried by the amount of radiation,” Mason said. “There, it would be certain death unless you did something, including every kind of shielding you could possibly provide.”
Humans are always inventing ideas to help the knowledge of astronomy. But there’s a long way ahead of us waiting for us to explore.
A lot of people now have a lot of free time doing things because of quarantine. Some use it for beneficial purposes to improve the situation right now, some use it to create fake information and use it to create harm. Fake information can really harm people because you either make them overestimate the situation or make them underestimate it.
Especially in this scenario right now, the Covid-19 is really something you need to care about. During this time, people are really bored and don’t know what to do. First, one can do something very productive. For example, let’s say you’re very bored at home and don’t know what to do. You came up with an idea that you can read and get better at things. With this knowledge, you can teach someone else, such as your parents, your friends, or your family. Then, they’ll learn this knowledge and be more careful.
On the other hand, you can do something very harmful. For instance, you can create fake information that makes people believe something that doesn’t really exist. Creating information that is not true can cause people to overestimate or underestimate something like I said before. If you create something that makes people overestimate something, they’ll do something that is excessive and doesn’t have to be done. One example will be they’ll buy things to prepare for the Covid-19 but they aren’t really necessary.
Creating fake knowledge can really be bad for people. They can really think something that they really don’t need to. If you have time to create something harmful, why don’t you actually do something beneficial for humankind.
Sometimes people say mice are bad because they cause infestations, sometimes people say mice are good because humans can study them and get more information. On May 7th, 2020, scientists who study neuroscience published an image of a mouse’s brain at Brain Science, an institute. Well, it’s not just a normal image taken randomly, what makes it so special is that it’s the most detailed image of a mouse’s brain.
There are many reasons why we study animals’ bodies. One reason is that people are trying to get information by studying the images taken on animals’ bodies. They do this because animals’ body structure, their brain, or their abilities are all similar to humans. “In the old days, people would define different regions of the brain by eye. As we get more and more data, that manual curation doesn’t scale anymore,” Lydia Ng, an Allen Institute researcher.
Another reason is that doing this will bring neuroscience to a new level. What I mean is that, the reason for taking this extremely detailed picture, it’s not just for humans to study. By taking this picture we can learn this skill on other things too.
Compared to the image taken in the 90’s, this is a whole new change and upgrade of our studies of neuroscience.
Taking this picture helps us get information on animals’ bodies so we can learn ours, and the other thing is to get our study of science, either biology, chemistry, or physics to a whole new level.
