A Bigger Future

Before GenZ, the world’s most populated generation, the millennials, made a huge impact in the new modern world. Millennials have made changes in the past decade, from being one of the world’s strongest consumers. As scientists notice the age increases of millennials, in which the oldest millennials would be well over adulthood, it was time to go into the next generation, which were people born from 19996 and forward. GenZ, the newest generation that consists of people born in 1996-2015 are rising teens becoming adults are here to make a change in the future for this world.
In the newest generation, many of the people are currently aging to the point where it is their turn to make an impact on the world and significant changes. GenZ may have added lots of negative feelings from suicidal jokes that should not be joked around to causing people to plan scenarios in their head before a situation even occurred. However, GenZ has a good learning experience from previous generations, they have witnessed the crisis and problems in the generation before such as housing struggles, financial problems, and much more. GenZ has seen so much of it, that they are ready to make a change and hopefully preventing millions of students from going into student debt.
Before, GenZ has witnessed many students go hard in debt after chasing a dream college, attending it, and finally having zero success and then being in debt for most of their life trying to give back the money they had borrowed. Well, our future, this new generation has found many more paths to success, then just college. Saving money starting at a very young age has been happening much more often and again, the path of success or thought of going to success has changed drastically with the help of the internet. The biggest advantage and likelihood of GenZ making a good impact for the future is seeing and learning from past experience and building off from that to make better changes.

Viruses Spreading

Bats, they are the only flying mammal there is in the world and are often considered as these creepy and scary animals because they are the perfect scapegoats for the deadly diseases that wipe out a large amount of the population over the years. Bats were actually one of the sources from where the virus SARS started and wiped out a large amount of people in the year 2003. Bats was known to cause this, bow how exactly do these bats pass it on and why do they pass it on so quickly.
Well, first of all, bats carry more human diseases than a lot of other animals mostly because bats live in close proximity with other bats, kind of like humans passing on diseases while being close together. So, for this reason, it is so easy for bats to pass on diseases with most of the other bats, and soon, most of the bats in that area have easily gotten the disease from just one bat. Bats have such strong immune systems that these diseases are not deadly to them, and their ability to fly makes it some much worse because flying takes so much energy that soon they were able to obtain a defense process which helps them from contracting the diseases. For humans however, this could lead to them obtaining serious and dangerous diseases. Bats have several advantages when it comes to preventing and protecting themselves from diseases, and these advantages are major disadvantages for humans.
Bats easily pass diseases to other mammals, including humans, and with them being able to transmit viruses to other mammals, it could be easier for us to obtain the virus making the situation frightening. Although creating a vaccine of some kind for each of the many viruses the bat can spread, it is likely impossible because scientists have not made or found a vaccine for the current virus spreading right now so scientists are studying hard and researching more about bats, dong several tests and investigating the relationship of how a bat could be the cause of all of this, since there is still contradiction when determining the cause of the many viruses that causes the population to be wiped out so fast.

Effects of Sleep

Sleeping is something many people do on a daily basis. Sometimes we spend half a day sleeping and sometimes a couple hours, but does the number of hours really affect how you do during the day? Sleeping is a major role in physical health and mental health.
First of all, for physical health, sleep can actually cause a gain in weight. A study had shown that children and adults who have a tendency to lack a sufficient amount of sleep are more likely to gain weight and develop obesity compared to kids and adults who sleep a good amount, which is about eight hours respectively. It was also proven that people who are sleep-deprived and lack sleep are often affected with hormones interfere with the appetite and leads to eating excess calories than those who get a sufficient amount of sleep, who intake fewer calories.
Adding on to physical health, you need your body to be the healthiest it can be when perfuming sports or some kind of extra curriculars activity. You need to be the healthiest in order to do well and can maximize the amount of energy you have to perform the sport you play. Less sleep can take away that energy and can weaken the performance of one.
Now mentally, how does sleep affect you mentally? There is obviously effects of someone’s physical health when they lack sleep but what exactly goes on mentally for someone when they do not get a good amount of sleep? Well, it could lead to disorders and affect moods most importantly, which can also lead to anxiety. Sleeping is what helps us recover from our mental health every day, and without the proper sleep, it is easy to fall into problems, which can soon lead to suicidal thoughts and depression. Sleep is an important part of our lives, and we should not overlook it because it is something that helps us recover and grow stronger for the next day.

Practice in Moderation

Scientists have shown that the brain does not fully harden in a person until the age of 25, which is remarkable based on the fact that our brain needs lots of years to fully develop and makes many changes as we are getting old, and then once we actually hit the age of 25, our brains harden and stay like that for the rest of our lives.
So, when mastering a task, we have to change and start up places in our brain. When we first start this goal we want to achieve, such as a sport or talking in front of others, our brain knows what we want to say or how we want to carry out the performance, but when it is time to actually do it, it goes the opposite way of how we wanted it to go, and soon our brain gets more comfortable with the action as we do it more. So, during these twenty-five years before the brain is fully hardened or close to fully hardened, many changes happen through our brain. As the ted talk mentioned, overdoing a performance can worsen the performance itself, but underdoing will get you nowhere, this is why moderation should be a key to making and helping your brain achieve the goal.
Practicing moderation is so good for health to your brain, staying healthy physically, and even achieving your goals. For example, you want to run a distance in a specific amount of time, and you barely eat because you are just so focused on doing it right. This is not only unhealthy, but a bad way to achieve and accomplish something. With moderation, you could practice a little every day or every other day, or even a couple of days week at minimum and have the nutrients you need to practice for running. However you do still need to practice a good amount in order for your brain structure to change and for you to be more comfortable doing it and with moderation, it gives you a steady pace to slowly but successfully achieve your goal rather than doing the all or nothing way, which sometimes ends up working but could also drastically fail.

Being Yourself

Being yourself is what they tell you, but many of us do not take that information in seriously. We look up to famous people, strong leaders, people with special talents, people who look amazing and are amazing, but when we look up to them, we are not necessarily looking up to them to the way we should. Sometimes, our mind even makes us believe that we want to be them and ditch the way we were made and designed to be by this universe, and really what I want to say through this passage is being yourself is the best decision you can make.
To dig deeper into what I mean by being yourself or choosing to be yourself, and listening to yourself, I mean that being yourself is much better than hiding in someone else’s skin. As Caroline mentioned, the most successful people all have something in common, which is nothing ironically. Being yourself is beautiful because everyone on this earth is different, which is the beauty of being yourself. You are one in the whole population consisting of almost eight billion people. There might be people who have similarities and common interests as you, but there will never be a person that is you. Each person pursues their own dream, some fail, and some succeed. Some people succeed without being themselves. They disguise themselves into this whole other person with these characteristics that are totally opposite of their true self, which is not only damaging themselves mentally, but guiding them to thinking how and what they exactly should be, which is wrong. There is no law or rule that says who everyone should sought out to be, sure there are the role models who you look up to, but there is nothing telling you who to be, which is sad that people actually want to ditch who they are and set out to become this whole new person that nobody recognizes.
Some fail being themselves, which at first might be sad and heartbreaking, but as time goes on, they realize that maybe they were meant for something else. Not everyone will succeed perfectly sadly but succeeding with a fake skin or costume is terrible because you are not who you are, and you know it. You always have to put up an act for the sakes of fitting in or succeeding, which ruins the purpose of yourself. Each person on this earth was given a gift, because he person has his or her on talent to give and share, but more importantly, each person was made differently which is what makes being yourself such a beauty and why it is said to us when we were younger. The words be yourself is such a warm combination of encouragement, and it is very important that we do be ourselves instead of hiding behind our fake selves.
