I think that the story Uncle Willy is a very weird one. It is about a guy who does drugs and some people in the town are trying to help him battle his addiction. They eventually succeed but the boy and Uncle Willy both leave the town. Uncle Willy has a plane and wants to learn how to fly it. He doesn’t realize that he can’t learn easily, and one day he tries to fly the plane but sadly crashed.

Uncle Willy is a good friend of the little boy, but I think that even though the boy thought Uncle Willy was super cool that he shouldn’t have stayed with him. I feel like Uncle Willy just gets into a lot of trouble and gets addicted to bad things really easily. Uncle Willy seems like a dangerous man who is going to get into trouble at any time.

In the end of the story when Uncle Willy dies the boy says that he thinks that he helped Uncle Willy and that Uncle Willy knew. This leads me to think that Uncle Willy wanted to go. Uncle Willy thought that he had all the fun he had ever had and didn’t really care anymore. Uncle Willy knew he couldn’t drive the plane. He didn’t want to learn, he just wanted to use it to end it all. He had enough fun so now it was over.

The book Miss Awful is about a sub that is very strict. Most of the students really hate her. I think that she is very strict but she thinks that she is trying to help them because their teacher was a very laid back, and she let them take a nap in the middle of class.(Keep in mind that these are all third graders and they are not pre-schoolers. The teacher disciplines them and actually teaches them instead of letting them do whatever.

Most of the students hate her because she is being mean to them. They never had a teacher that was strict so they all thought she was just being mean and forcing them to do work unlike their previous teacher. Rodger was someone who was very bad at spelling, and the teacher was teaching how to spell better.

During the last day of school the students destroyed the teachers plant and when the teacher saw she was very sad. Rodger felt bad for her and stayed back. He showed her how his spelling improved and that she had helped him a lot and that she didn’t just spend all her time there just to have her plant to be destroyed. I think this made her feel better showing her that she helped one of the students get better at something.

In the story the lady or the tiger there was a cliffhanger where the author asks who the reader thinks is behind the door? In this story there is a tyrant as the king. He is semi-barbaric but has a good side. He is able to entertain his kingdom by making a building that solves problems, the person that is guilty will go into the arena and pick a door to open. One door has a lady that he will marry no matter what. The other door has a tiger that will rip him up in pieces.

In this story the king’s daughter that loves a guy and he loves her too. The king finds out and makes the guy go into the arena. He looks at the princess knowing that she knows which side has the tiger. She tells him to go to the right door. He is going to the right there and done, the author leaves you on a cliff hanger. The author asks if the right door had a tiger or lady.

I think that it was the tiger. In the book the author writes how it might’ve ended if the lady was behind the door. The princess would be extremely sad. She would be super pale and look horrified. I think that this shows that the princess probably didn’t want him to get the lady. I think she would rather have him dead than him marrying another woman.

Nobody knows which one actually came out from the door. I think that the princess would want him to be eaten by the tiger. I think that if it was the lady, then the princess would’ve probably made life miserable for the lady and she would try to get the lady to divorce the man so that she could marry him.

Walter Mitty is an ordinary guy, but he is never in charge it is always other people telling him what to do. He day dreams a lot, and I think that he always wants to be the guy that is in control. I also think that he wants to be a special person that is known everywhere and is the superior one because he is unable to be that person in real life.

During Walter Mitty’s mundane life he is controlled by others, like his wife. His wife tells him what to do and Walter says nothing and does it. He seems scared that if he forgets something his wife would get mad at him. In his dreams he is always the one controlling people and he doesn’t care what others think of him. He is always telling people what to do.

Also he just kind of wishes that he could be the superior one but he doesn’t have the guts to say anything against what his wife wants. He is to scared to say anything bad to others. In his dreams he is able to tell everyone what he wants them to do without anybody saying anything. He can really do anything he wants since it is his day dream.

Walter Mitty is a very mundane and boring person. He isn’t able to talk bad to others because he is scared of the outcome. When he has his day dreams he is able to belittle anyone because he is more superior than others. He is the smart guy and he is better than all the others. He just isn’t able to do any of this in real life because of his personality of being a passive person.

In the story Dee is portrayed as a pretty girl that is really selfish. She is ashamed of her family for being poor. She can’t accept being poor and wants to have a nice life, which is acceptable, but she knows nothing about her ancestors and thinks that all the special things in their house are just
relics and cool things from her ancestors.

Dee is portrayed as this really selfish girl that is really ashamed of being poor. She doesn’t really even understand her ancestors. She thinks all of their items that are in the house are just relics. She is super selfish and wants everything to be nice for her. She isn’t really nice to her sister because she wants everything to herself. She doesn’t exactly care for her sister.

Let’s look through Dee’s eyes though. She lives in a poor family and she really hates her house because it is so shabby. She is so smart and pretty so her mom decides to send her to a really good school. She is so smart and talented so obviously she wants to have a nice house and be rich. I think that if you look at it from her view maybe you might think she shouldn’t have been portrayed as a mean and selfish person.

You can look at the story from both ways but I think that it makes sense that she is shown as a selfish person. Even if you look at the story from her POV you can still see that she wants everything to be nice for her. She is unable to accept the fact that she is poor like her sister and her mom do. She just wants to have everything nice for herself.

I am a part of generation z people in gen z are born from 1996 to 2015. I think there are lots of pros and cons of being a part of gen z. There are a lot of things that I love and hate about being a part of gen z.

One pro of being a part of gen z is that I am able to access so many things on the internet so that I can learn. I am able to know a lot more info than people might have known a long time ago. Another pro about being a part of gen z is that I can connect with friends that are thousands of miles away. Many people weren’t able to do that when they were young.

One con is that I see a lot of sad things on the internet. I might see something like people are dying or a picture of a serial killer. A lot of things seen on the internet might be bad or really scary. I think that lots of things are very disturbing.

Some things about gen z is good some are bad. I hope that I don’t see so many bad things on the internet. A lot of things might be disturbing, but some may be good. I don’t know what I might see.

In the story A good man is hard to find the grandma is a pretty selfish and she only really thinks about herself. In the beginning of the short story she insists that the family shouldn’t go to Florida even though it had been established that they were going. She just makes excuses so that they don’t go.

They eventually go and on the road trip the grandma remembers a house that had a secret when she was young. The family decides to take a detour and goes to this house. When they start to go she realizes the house was in Tennessee and not Georgia. She doesn’t say anything and just let’s the dad drive. Then all of a sudden the car flips over.

Then, the misfit arrives. He was a very bad criminal that escaped jail and was on the run. The grandma recognizes him and points it out. He now has to kill them because if he doesn’t he knows the family will turn him in. So he has his “helpers” take the rest of the family to the woods and has them kill the family first. Then the grandma tries to convince the misfit to change but fails and dies to.

If the grandma wasn’t so selfish and arrogant the family may have survived. If she had just told them that the house was in Tennessee maybe they wouldn’t have flipped over and met the misfit. If she didn’t point out it was him they might have survived. If the grandma had acted differently the family would have survived.

In the short story the Lottery every year there is a lottery that sacrifices one person every year. I think that this lottery is wrong and it should be removed. It is very wrong to kill a person even if it is the tradition.

First of all, nobody wants to be killed for tradition. These people are just relying on luck so that they can live another day. They have to hope that they aren’t chosen. If the people are chosen they are constantly hit with stones until they die. It is very cruel and nobody should have to experience that pain.

But we have to look through the elders’ eyes. They don’t think that there is anything wrong with the tradition because they grew up with it. They see it as a happy event and don’t see anything wrong with this sacrifice. They just think that every year it’s the same old tradition sacrificing one person every time and they honestly just don’t see anything wrong with this tradition.

Then you have the little children who think that this absolutely terrible and that they shouldn’t have to sacrifice someone every year just because of tradition. They have to be forced to come because they are very reluctant to go. I think that the children can’t have somebody there one day and then the next they are just gone. They have a different view of the lottery and eventually when it will be the young generation and their children then the tradition will be gone.

I honestly have to agree with the newer generation because why do you have to kill somebody every year. I do understand that all of it is just a tradition, but still, why would this have to be a thing. I don’t think that there should be a lottery anymore.

In the Ted talk she talks about how solitary confinement is bad. I completely agree and also think that it shouldn’t be a thing. Even if people did really bad things they don’t deserve it. Nobody deserves to be is solitary confinement. It is very torturous and absolutely nobody deserves it.

She says that nobody actually knows what is happening in prisons, and nobody knows if someone is actually being hurt. When these people are by themself they sometimes wonder if they are even relevant to the world or are even actually there. Sometimes they loose their voice after only talking for an hour or so. Some people can’t even see far distances because they are so used to only seeing 3 feet in front of themself in their own cell.

Nobody should be kept in solitary confinement for more than 15 days or it is basically torture. These people although bad shouldn’t have to go through solitary confinement for so long. One of these prisoners were kept there for more than 30 years. Nobody should have to be by themself for that long. It is very harmful to these prisoner’s mental health.

Nobody should have to go through solitary confinement, it is practically torture. Many people go through pains but this is probably one of the worst. It is very hard to live in solitary confinement for so long. A lot of people start to go crazy in solitary confinement. It is very bad and shouldn’t be used as a punishment.

In this Ted Talk Leon Marshal talks about how antibiotics affect people and animals. I think that he says a lot of things about how antibiotics were used on animals. He talks about how farmers used antibiotics on farm animals to get them to live longer.

I think that getting farm animals to live longer can be good but, using antibiotics is not the way to go. You can get them to live longer just by providing them with nutrients and good hygiene as said in the Ted Talk. Farmers might have used to give food to animals that would not be healthy but full with fat. Since the food wasn’t nutritious they would have to use antibiotics to get the animals to live longer. Also, the farmers might have not cleaned the animals’ living spaces. This would cause the animals to have bad hygiene, and again get sick.

A ton of antibiotics are used for house pets. These pets have to use antibiotics, and the antibiotics might harm the owner. Again, if the owner provided the pet with very good and nutritious food the pets wouldn’t have to get the antibiotics. Even if the food is more expensive it is probably better than to get a ton of antibiotics.

I think that there are many ways to keep people and animals nutritious but giving them a lot of antibiotics is not the play. You can feed them good food and keep them clean instead of constantly using antibiotics.
