Tesla being one of the most revolutionary cars in the world, SpaceX, which is revolutionizing the space industry, and PayPal, being the most popular online bank. Elon has done a lot of remarkable and inspiring action in his 49 years. This brings up the question, what kind of impact has Elon made?

Elon Musk Biography

Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. As a child, Musk was lost in his daydreams and was very curious. Elon was 12 when he sold his first software: a game he created called Blastar. Musk was short, introverted and bookish. He was bullied until he was 15 and went through a growth spurt and learned how to defend himself with karate and wrestling. He graduated at the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in economics and stayed for a second bachelor’s degree in physics. After leaving Penn, Musk headed to Stanford University to pursue a PhD. However, his move was timed perfectly with the Internet boom, and he dropped out of Stanford after just two days to become a part of it, he co-founded \ Zip2, a web software company, which was acquired by Compaq for $340 million in 1999. Musk then founded X.com, an online bank. It merged with Confinity in 2000, which had launched PayPal the previous year and was subsequently bought by eBay for $1.5 billion in October 2002. In May 2002, Musk founded SpaceX, an aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company, of which he is CEO and lead designer. He joined Tesla Motors, Inc. (now Tesla, Inc.), an electric vehicle manufacturer, in 2004, the year after it was founded, became its product architect, and became its CEO in October 2008. In 2006, he helped create SolarCity, a solar energy services company (now a subsidiary of Tesla). In 2015, Musk co-founded OpenAI, a nonprofit research company that aims to promote friendly artificial intelligence. In July 2016, he co-founded Neuralink, a neurotechnology company focused on developing brain–computer interfaces. In December 2016, Musk founded The Boring Company, an infrastructure and tunnel construction company focused on tunnels optimized for electric vehicles.

Elon Musk is the founder, CEO, CTO and chief designer of SpaceX; early investor, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; founder of The Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink; and co-founder and initial co-chairman of OpenAI. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 2018. In addition to his primary business pursuits, Musk has envisioned a high-speed transportation system known as the Hyperloop. Musk has said the goals of SpaceX, Tesla, and SolarCity revolve around his vision to “change the world and help humanity”. His goals include reducing global warming through sustainable energy production and consumption and lessening the risk of human extinction by establishing a human colony on Mars. Musk has said he hopes to send astronauts to Mars in the next 10 to 20 years. And last November, he laid out his vision for establishing a huge Red Planet colony that could one day support up to 80,000 people. Elon is revolutionizing digital currency, space flight, solar energy, and transportation. Elon had also made electric cars awesome. Now everyone wants a Tesla! Musk’s interest in electric cars stems in part from his concern about the effects of climate change, so it makes sense that he’s involved with a big renewable-energy venture. Musk serves as chairman of SolarCity, which designs and installs clean-energy systems for households, businesses, universities and other organizations.
