Robots that are like Violet are necessary until vaccine for covid-19 are made. They are necessary because without them, we will risk even more live to covid-19. If a robot gets the virus, no biggie but if the best doctor in the world gets the virus, it’s gonna be a problem. Also, if a doctor is helping a infected patient, there’s a chance he/she may spread the virus to other people.
One of the important reasons is that we cannot help everyone who is infected, there is just not enough equipment and medics are too busy. If there are robots who could help, they can help save more lives and medics would be not as busy as before but still will be busy.
