Like, Bill and Sam wanted money, a LOT of money, and got greedy. But their plan backfired and actually needed to pay $250.  What I like about &#8220;The Ransom of the Red Chief&#8221; Is that it reflects the olden times when there we&#8217;re cowboys and Native Americans. And that there&#8217;s a twist. Instead of Bill and Sam getting their way, The boy annoys them so much that they start to regret their idea. And when Ebenezer gives the men a note, Bill and Sam are like, Oh no!! and it grabs the Readers Attention.
