The Ransom of the Red Chief is a story about two idiotic criminals who attempt making money from a kidnapping ransom. These two idiots, Sam and Bill, attempt to kidnap a 10 year old kid named Johnny Dorset, instead the plan goes wrong and the two men end up paying Johnny Dorset\u2019s father $250. This shows the importance of not being so dumb and absent minded, but actually planning ahead. If you are going to kidnap a 10 year old, you might as well do it right and not make a fool of yourself.
