Stop being so lazy!” However, here is my opinion: your sleeping range will difer from age. Sleep. Sleep is very important. It helps you heal, grow and do many more extraordinary things. On the other hand, if you don’t sleep for a week, you will die. People who are newborns should sleep 11-18 hours, teens/tweens should sleep 8-10 hours, and senior citizens should sleep around 5-9 hours.

There are three points to -Basic Sleep-

1. Lots of people keep announcing they are too tired and head off to retire for the night. However, lots of these people think they are so tired after a day’s work, but their brain doesn’t want to sleep. Lots of times these people(including me sometimes) keep turning and tossing in their beds, unable to sleep until their brain finally decides: “I will go to sleep.” Then they hear no more as they gratefully start to snore. (Why did that even rhyme???) What confuses me and even more amazes me is that my brain controls me. I always had this feeling that I controlled my brain, until I asked myself: “Who is I?” Then I realized that my brain was the controller, part of me, but not me. This first struck me as, I am brain! Then I realized how weird that sounded, because my entire body was me, not only the brain. It’s like a TV is not only the controller, but the entire screen, too.

2. Kids who tend to fall asleep in class, are mostly folks who are lazy, or just doesn’t care about academics. However, this is very different, for lots of the adults who fall asleep at work aren’t getting enough sleep during their sleep time. Thus, they will fall asleep in the most embarrassing of positions and sometimes they are even drooling. Sleep is not only good for your dignity, but also just for keeping and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

3. Keep an average wake up-time. This is helpful because if your body keeps on waking at different times(I can relate, since on weekends I like to sleep in) this can difer in effects from just being tired(#2) and insomnia. Trust me, there’s a big difference.

-Justin

=_= -ZZZ

Lots of people claim: “Geez, 10 hours of sleep is enough!
