Mike grew a decent moustache,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
his sister didn’t like it,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
she gave him an electric razor for Christmas,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
he didn’t bother to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He’d learned to like the moustache, bit by bit,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
he kept it, until he got his sister to admit,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Well, at least you combed it.” she said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mike, didn’t listen, so he sighed instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His mom persuaded him to visit his grandma,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and he said ” absolutely, I can not.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The smell of the nursing home is similar to hospitals and the sight of blood makes me feel faint.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He ended up going, as guilty as ever,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
he hadn’t gone in a long time, and it seemed forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His grandma welcomed him, in a manner he thought was spooky,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and the expresion on her face, was rather droopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She thought that Mike was her husband,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
speaking what seemed like non-sense to Mike and asking for him to forgive her,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
he thought that she was crazy, until he seemed to understand,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
she seemed to be making a forgiveness demand,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So he said “I forgive you.” and turned away,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
hoping that he didn’t have to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he got home he got out the razor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and shaved off his moustache, without thinking much longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
