{"id":8823,"date":"2020-06-26T01:37:36","date_gmt":"2020-06-26T01:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sunnyyouth.org\/blogs\/?p=8823"},"modified":"2020-06-26T01:37:36","modified_gmt":"2020-06-26T01:37:36","slug":"present-day-protesting-verses-back-then-protesting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunnyyouth.org\/blogs\/present-day-protesting-verses-back-then-protesting\/","title":{"rendered":"Present Day Protesting Verses Back-Then Protesting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In Martin Luther King Junior\u2019s days, they protested by being reasonable.\u00a0 Nowadays, the so-called \u201cprotesters\u201d smash a lot of stores\u2019 windows and steal the products because they said that it is \u201cunfair\u201d.\u00a0 First of all, how is it unfair?\u00a0 I mean, just because of some police officers- that are racist- why do they have to be nosy?\u00a0 They may not know why people act the way they act.\u00a0 For example, someone may \u201ctake\u201d\u00a0 one\u2019s belongings without asking, but maybe that person said they could take it, only that person forgot about it.\u00a0 Secondly, Martin Luther King Junior was fighting for a reasonable cause, but some protesters are now using this chance to get free money.\u00a0 Lastly, these protesters are making a mess of our country, ruining stores, lives, and much more.\u00a0 Back then, protesters proved their point by speaking strongly to make government officials make a change.  Also, Martin Luther King Junior actually <strong>proved<\/strong> his point: He and his fellow protesters wanted freedom and an end to discrimination.
