I personally love this short story and it has been one of my favourites in this past week’s reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It talks about how Waverly, the main character in this story plays chess games and also plays against her mother in a game that lasts a liftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I like this short story for many reasons, the first one is like how this story doesn’t involve killing, unlike a lot of other stories Dr. Chen makes us read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second of all, I could really relate to Waverly and how her relationship with her mother is sometimes very intense and how one wrong movement can ruin the entire thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lastly, this book talks about chess and I love chess. Even though I only play it at home, I’m never really tired of it, and I think that it would be one of my most favourite games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
